Job Title: Learning Disability Support Specialist
About the Role:
Home Instead Westminster is seeking a dedicated Learning Disability Support Specialist to enhance the lives of our clients. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in facilitating community engagement and participation, assisting with daily tasks, and promoting independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate community engagement and participation, ensuring our clients are actively involved in their communities.
- Assist with meal preparation, promoting active participation and healthy eating habits.
- Support individuals with household tasks and upkeep, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Administer medication, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Accompany individuals on outings and activities, promoting social interaction and enjoyment.
- Coordinate and attend medical appointments, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, working together to achieve optimal outcomes.
