Academic Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Academic Assistant - SEN Role to join our team, working closely with teachers and therapists to provide individualised support to students. This role requires a calm and patient approach, establishing positive relationships with pupils and promoting their emotional well-being.
Main Duties:- To work collaboratively with the teaching staff to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans.
- To assist in maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and achievements.
- To participate in various activities that support the student's social and emotional development.
- To monitor and report any concerns regarding pupil welfare or behaviour.
The successful candidate should have relevant qualifications and experience, including GCSE Maths and English Language, Level 2-3 Teaching Assistant Qualification, and knowledge of safeguarding procedures. A driving license and access to a vehicle are also preferred due to the rural location of the school.
Salary: £22 per hour. Benefits include Professional Development Opportunities, Meal Allowance, Pension Scheme, and Private Medical Insurance.
