We are seeking an expert Automotive Electronics Engineer to join our high-performance engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning complex electrical systems for motorsport and track-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing electrical system solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Managing electrical commissioning and ensuring seamless project delivery
- Liaising with suppliers and customers to meet project requirements
- Supporting the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM)
Project Coordination and Management:
- Coordinating and managing individual tasks and team projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints
- Contributing to project delivery, including preparing specifications, conducting design reviews, and managing customer expectations
- Engaging with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes
Customer and Supplier Relationships:
- Maintaining effective communication with clients and suppliers
- Participating in project reviews to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with customer requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in electrical engineering
- Hands-on electrical assembly experience
- Familiarity with motorsport/automotive data acquisition systems
- Proven experience in electrical fault diagnostics and resolution
- Knowledge of vehicle control interfaces and build processes
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and technical documentation
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to approach problems from first principles
