£40,000 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an expert Automotive Electronics Engineer to join our high-performance engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning complex electrical systems for motorsport and track-based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing electrical system solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
  • Managing electrical commissioning and ensuring seamless project delivery
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers to meet project requirements
  • Supporting the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOM)

Project Coordination and Management:

  • Coordinating and managing individual tasks and team projects to meet deadlines and budget constraints
  • Contributing to project delivery, including preparing specifications, conducting design reviews, and managing customer expectations
  • Engaging with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes

Customer and Supplier Relationships:

  • Maintaining effective communication with clients and suppliers
  • Participating in project reviews to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with customer requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in electrical engineering
  • Hands-on electrical assembly experience
  • Familiarity with motorsport/automotive data acquisition systems
  • Proven experience in electrical fault diagnostics and resolution
  • Knowledge of vehicle control interfaces and build processes
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and technical documentation
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to approach problems from first principles
