Job Title: Senior Android Software Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Android Software Engineer to join our team at Senitor Associates. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient mobile applications using Android technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Android development.
  • Strong knowledge of Progressive Web App (PWA) skills,.Net development skills using C#, UI development using MVC and Web Forms, API design and development, database development techniques, OOP best practice and design principles, source control packages such as DevOps, Git or Team Foundation, writing unit tests and other forms of testing, and SQL (DDL, DQL and DML).
  • Desirable skills include Azure, CI/CD via Azure DevOps, Entity Framework Core, Web Servers (IIS) and Windows Server, DevExpress components, Android Studio development skills using Java or Kotlin, SQL Lite and ROOM database, Android best practice and design principles, and deploying Apps to Google Managed Play Store, Microsoft InTune.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
