The work will be across 150 buildings, ranging from brand new laboratories, offices, and grade 2 listed buildings. You will have access to pool vans, but you will often be walking around campus as this is quicker and more efficient. However, you will be required to use the vans for bigger jobs that require more tools and manpower.

A commercial maintenance background, particularly electrical, is desirable, and mechanical background is also beneficial for tasks such as changing fan belts. You must have experience with 3-phase LV networks and a full UK driving license. You will also need to have your own vehicle to get to site when you are 'On Call'.

The basic salary is up to £37,100 per annum, not including overtime and on-call pay. You will also receive pension days, holiday, and 8 bank holidays. You will be put through various training and have access to a staff discount scheme that provides exclusive discounts on online shopping, travel, electronics, and digital learning.
