Job Description

We are seeking a skilled LGV Driver to join our team. As an essential part of our supply chain operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Your responsibilities will include operating large goods vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic regulations, conducting routine vehicle inspections, and maintaining effective communication with customers and colleagues. You will be the face of Kuehne+Nagel on the road, representing our company with the highest standards of customer service.\

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Operate LGVs with primary focus on safety, transporting goods securely and efficiently to designated locations.
  
• Adhere to traffic regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any defects or issues and ensuring overall maintenance of the LGV.
  
• Maintain effective communication with customers and colleagues, addressing any issues that may arise promptly and professionally.
  
• Ensure high standards of service, representing Kuehne+Nagel positively at all times.
  
• Safely and securely load, unload, and transport goods, adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures.
  
• Complete accurate documentation related to deliveries, including logbooks and other required paperwork, ensuring compliance with record-keeping standards.
  

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• 
  
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and mechanics, with ability to conduct regular checks and report any issues.
  
• Valid Category B, C+E driving license and ADR Training Certificate (Categories 1-9 excluding 7 but with 7x accepted packages).
  
• In-date Drivers' Certificate of Professional Competence.
