Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lettings Manager to join our team at Spicerhaart Estate Agents in Walthamstow.

This is an exciting opportunity for a target-driven and ambitious individual to take their career to the next level.

As a Lettings Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Lettings Negotiators and ensuring the smooth operation of the lettings department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading daily meetings with the Lettings team to discuss sales performance and set targets.
  • Coaching and mentoring the team to achieve KPIs and improve sales performance.
  • Monitoring and assessing individual team member performance, including conducting regular one-to-one meetings.
  • Encouraging team development and progression, and identifying opportunities for training and development.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and tenants, and ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Liaising with tenants and arranging property viewings in line with their needs.
  • Negotiating offers and agreeing new tenancies.
  • Ensuring the business is risk-averse and following the highest compliance standards for all regulatory bodies.

Essential Skills:

  • Full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within residential lettings at a Senior Negotiator position or higher.
  • Ability to work well with others to create a team spirit and an enjoyable working environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create trusting relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create and action business plans relevant to the branch.
  • Ability to monitor and assess performance of local competitors.
  • Strong understanding of current legislation related to residential lettings.
  • Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Basic IT skills.

The Finer Details:

We are currently conducting some interviews using video software. To be eligible to proceed in our recruitment process, you will need:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK (in accordance with the Immigration Asylum and Nationality Act 2006).
  • We'll need evidence of your right to work in the UK, in the form of: Passport/Birth Certificate.

  • Proof of Address.
  • National Insurance.
  • Drivers Licence Check.
