Compensation Package:


Up to £68,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a £5,000 relocation allowance.


About the Role:


Bright Leaf Recruitment is seeking an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our client's team of 8 veterinarians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgery and a desire to take on challenging surgical procedures.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform surgical procedures with a high level of skill and precision.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of experienced veterinarians and veterinary nurses.
  • Provide high-quality patient care and maintain excellent clinical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Practice Details:


  • Purpose-built building with separate dog and cat waiting rooms, kennels, and theatres.
  • On-site CT scanner, video endoscopy, digital x-ray, and other advanced diagnostic equipment.
  • Dedicated dental suite with new dental x-ray machine and colour flow doppler ultrasound.
  • Separate exotics ward and oxygen kennels.
  • Slit lamp bio-microscope, tonometry, and cryotherapy.
  • Dedicated 'farewell' rooms and large on-site carpark.

About the Team:


  • 8 Veterinary Surgeons, including 2 certificate holders and experienced vets with a variety of interests and skills.
  • 13 Veterinary nurses with over 200 years of experience.
  • Dedicated teams for nurse training, reception, insurance, finance, and practice management.
