Carpentry Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Joiner to join our fantastic repairs and maintenance team at Home Group. As a Joiner, you will carry out high-quality, right first-time maintenance across our responsive and void properties.

Key Responsibilities

• As a multi-skilled Joiner, you will complete allocated jobs right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
• You will work on joinery tasks across repairs, maintenance, and property refurbishments, with all jobs scheduled to ensure you know exactly where you need to be.
• You will deliver high-quality and compliant work, with a focus on multi-skilling to improve first-time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers' homes.
• You will work in our properties across the North Lakes, with a flexible approach and the ability to use your own initiative and judgement.

Requirements

• You will have a City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in carpentry, joinery, or equivalent.
• You will have experience in all aspects of joinery work within a maintenance environment, including glazing and working with UPVC windows and doors.
• You will have experience in other building trade areas (multi-skilled).
• You will have a full current UK driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

• A permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-call on a rota basis).
