Job Title: Payroll Assistant - PART TIME

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (pro rata to 20-25 hours ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team at Office Angels. As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiently manage payroll for a diverse client base, utilizing payroll systems for both weekly and monthly processing.
  • Ensure accuracy in RTI submissions and effectively handle pension administration duties.
  • Manual calculations, adeptly managing holiday pay, SSP & SMP, and other statutory payments.
  • Conduct thorough bookkeeping across multiple platforms, including Excel, Xero, and QuickBooks.
  • Maintain meticulous financial records.
  • Provide professional and efficient responses to client queries.

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated individual with previous experience in a similar Payroll position. Essential skills include:

  • Experience working with Pensions and Weekly/Monthly wages.
  • IT skills in Xero, QuickBooks, and Excel.
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
