Job Title: SEN Teacher for Post 16 Students with ASD

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at a small special needs college in Haringey. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with students with ASD and will be responsible for teaching 4/5 KS5 students with a mixture of verbal and non-verbal students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and supporting students with ASD in a Post 16 setting
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans for students
  • Collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure a comprehensive education for students

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with ASD
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
