Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a child with Autism in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs and be able to provide support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to a child with Autism in a primary school setting
- Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons to meet the child's individual needs
- Help the child to develop their social, emotional, and academic skills
- Communicate effectively with the child, teachers, and other staff members to ensure the child's needs are met
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Enhanced Child DBS
- Experience working with students with special educational needs
- Ability to provide one-to-one support and guidance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
