We are seeking a highly skilled Innovation Engineer - Automation Specialist to join our Business Improvement and Innovation team within the Engineering department at British Airways.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct in-depth analysis and research within automation to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  2. Develop and implement solutions to automate processes and enhance efficiency, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and the Microsoft Power Platform.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate specialized knowledge into Engineering operations and drive business efficiency.
  4. Share best practices and provide guidance to other team members to foster a culture of innovation.
  5. Establish metrics and KPIs to control and evaluate the success of improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Proficiency in tools and technologies related to robotic process automation, particularly UIPath.
  2. Expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate and Power Apps.
  3. Ability to identify RPA opportunities through Process Mapping.
  4. Strong analytical and research skills, with excellent communication skills for conveying complex information.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a good listener who quickly builds trust with business users.
  6. Proven ability to implement innovative RPA solutions that result in tangible business benefits.
  7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insight from data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
