About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team at Trueline Products. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver high-quality projects by accurately estimating project costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse project documentation, including plans and bills of quantities, to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to source materials from approved suppliers and ensure competitive and up-to-date material costs.
  • Assess operational risks associated with projects and work with the Commercial Manager and MD/Director to ensure profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with new and existing customers to understand their needs and maintain detailed records of estimates, customer interactions, and project documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience in sheet metal fabrication or similar industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer software.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
  • A keen eye for numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to influence decisions and work well within a team.
