Job Title: Assembly Technician

About the Role:

Orbital Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our client based in Cramlington. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for working from diagrams, measuring, bench fitting, and assembly tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working from technical drawings to assemble components
  • Measuring and verifying parts to ensure accuracy
  • Bench fitting and assembly tasks

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment
  • Basic education in mathematics and a strong understanding of technical concepts
  • Experience with power tools, cordless drills, and hand tools
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.44ph - £12.81
  • Overtime paid at x1.5 & x2
  • Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 13:00
  • Opportunity to convert to a permanent position
