About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team in Gloucestershire. As a Social Worker, you will work alongside adult social care practitioners, managers, and other professionals to uphold the rights of individuals with care and support needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in line with legislative frameworks to deliver strengths-based, person-centered practice using the three conversations model.
  • Support individuals with complex needs to live their best life, in line with statutory duties.
  • Undertake assessments to form professional judgments and implement plans accordingly.
  • Work with high-risk situations, including safeguarding enquiries and other multi-agency risk management procedures.
  • Apply critical reflection and analysis to complex cases and situations.

Requirements

  • Social work qualification and registration with a professional body in England.
  • Experience of working in a social worker position, preferably with adults in a statutory setting.
  • Knowledge of statutory social work, including current issues and new evidence-informed practice research.
  • Ability to communicate with compassion and authority in challenging situations.
  • Good level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Outlook.
