Job Title: Plant or Forklift Field Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team at The Clever Fish Recruitment Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant industry and excellent knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct customer service and attend customer properties to carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on diesel, LPG, and electrically operated equipment.
  • Work from home, covering the West Yorkshire area, and be responsible for carrying out tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Attend product training to ensure up-to-date knowledge of equipment and systems.
Requirements:
  • Full driving license.
  • Own tools - Specialist tools will be provided.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
  • Excellent fault diagnostic skills.
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer (ideally with plant experience).
Person Specification:
  • Reliable.
  • Customer focused, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing, and determined.
  • Well organised and possess a courteous and friendly manner.
