The Emerald Group is looking for a Risk Modelling Specialist to join their Research and Development Team in London.

Estimated Salary: £95,000 - £115,000 per annum.

Primary Objectives:

  • Design and develop risk models to accurately assess and manage potential losses.
  • Analyse and interpret large datasets, identifying trends and correlations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop targeted solutions.
  • Implement and maintain risk management frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Evaluate and refine existing risk models, ensuring they remain relevant and effective.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk modelling, data analysis, and software development.
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the reinsurance industry and its risks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
