The Haemophilia Unit, situated within the Medical Block at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital, provides high-quality care to patients with inherited bleeding disorders and other blood conditions. The unit offers a comprehensive service, including technical, invasive, and physical aspects of care, to ensure seamless support for patients and their families.

The post holder will be responsible for competently performing the necessary technical, invasive, and physical aspects of care for patients with inherited bleeding disorders and other blood conditions. The unit provides a range of services, including comprehensive care for patients in the West of Scotland with inherited bleeding conditions and support for the West of Scotland.

The Haemophilia Unit is a Forces Friendly Employer, committed to supporting applications from across the Armed Forces Community. The organisation recognises military skills, experience, and qualifications during the recruitment and selection process.

NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro-rata for part-time staff.
