Job Title: Machine Operator

Greencore Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Leeds. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient running of our operational assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and maintain factory machinery to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to resolve mechanical and procedural issues.
  • Complete and sign off quality documentation to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Improve quality and line efficiencies by interpreting production plans and understanding product, equipment, planning, and manning.
  • Check critical control points for product safety and quality control points, and take corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of spoken and written English, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of factory machinery is essential.
  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturer environment is preferred but not required.
  • Able to work flexible shifts, including day and night shifts, as this role will involve alternating shifts.
