Role Overview
The position of Mechanical Surveyor is a unique opportunity to be part of the MEH Alliance working on the prestigious Hinkley Point C Nuclear project. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and secure installation of cabling and pipework in the power station's vast network of rooms.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking control survey tasks both horizontally and vertically, ensuring they are executed in line with relevant specifications while maintaining safe practices during all survey-based operations around site. This includes establishing survey control points using traversing techniques, monitoring survey control networks to indicate building settlement, and attending site meetings with project stakeholders.

About You
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Surveyor with a strong background in survey equipment operation, including total stations, digital levels, and plummet lasers. A degree in surveying or engineering is essential, as well as experience with Starnet and knowledge of CDM regulations. Additionally, working in a joint venture or alliance environment would be beneficial. The ideal candidate must also be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
