Active Black Country Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Impact to lead our efforts in creating meaningful progress and driving positive change in the community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing research, evaluation, learning, advocacy, and communications across our partnerships and services, ensuring that we are equipped to grow the evidence base for the difference that being active can make to people's lives.

We are looking for someone with an open and engaging style, who will be an effective collaborator and able to share information openly and proactively, demonstrating a passion for the role that being active and playing sport can play in improving people's lives.

The role will be based out of our offices in Halesowen, operating on a hybrid basis with some home-based working incorporated.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and oversee research, evaluation, learning, advocacy, and communications across our partnerships and services.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive meaningful progress and positive change in the community.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders to build connections and develop knowledge of how the collective network of partners, knowledge, and resources can work together to tackle physical inactivity.
  4. Ensure that we are equipped to grow the evidence base for the difference that being active can make to people's lives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to share information openly and proactively.
  • Passion for the role that being active and playing sport can play in improving people's lives.
