Culinary Care Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant. As a key member of our care home team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our residents.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist with meal preparation and service, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
To excel in this role, you will require some previous kitchen experience, preferably within a similar environment. Holding an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation is desirable, although we encourage candidates who are willing to pursue this qualification.
In addition to your technical skills, excellent record-keeping and organisational abilities are essential. Your ability to work well under pressure, follow recipes accurately, and communicate effectively with colleagues and residents will also be critical to your success.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you can expect a competitive hourly rate of £10.50-£11.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
