Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating toolroom equipment to produce components to engineering drawings. This will involve operating milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, wire EDMs, and spark erosion equipment competently. You will also be responsible for identifying improvements and manufacturing methods within the department to increase efficiency and output. A key requirement of the role is to produce components to engineering drawings to a high level. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain works order paperwork and booking through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The successful candidate will work closely with the production team to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and to time. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £31,200 per annum, plus a full benefits package.
