Culinary Expert Wanted at Somerset Care

Somerset Care is an award-winning not-for-profit provider of care across the South West. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care to our residents, and we're looking for a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £12.92 per hour (£13.92 on weekends), recognising their value to our organisation.

As a Culinary Expert at Somerset Care, you'll be responsible for providing a high standard of varied menus, reflecting individual dietary requirements and ensuring nutritional value is monitored. You'll also manage and order food stock, support in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen to a high standard, and work with the kitchen assistant in the preparation and serving of food.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a Level 2 QCF qualification in catering or demonstrable experience in working as a Chef or Cook, ideally within a Residential care setting.
