Job Title: Complex Needs Practitioner - Gambling

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Needs Practitioner to join our team at Recovery Focus. As a key member of our outreach team, you will work with individuals who are struggling with gambling-related issues, providing holistic support and guidance to help them achieve positive outcomes.

About the Role:
  • Provide screening, co-produced assessment, and psychosocial interventions to individuals with complex needs
  • Develop and implement integrated care plans, working closely with clients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Offer after-care support and onward transition to other services as required
  • Work collaboratively with voluntary and statutory agencies, health professionals, and other partners to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • Professional qualification in health/social care, youth and community work, or experience in an Addictions or Social Care setting
  • Commitment to complete NVQ 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Significant experience of engaging effectively with clients in an addictions or social care setting
  • Knowledge of primary, secondary, and other outreach settings, as well as the functional model
  • Excellent record-keeping and report-writing skills, with a flexible approach and willingness to work across the community and within multi-agency partnership settings
