About the Job
We are excited to present a fantastic permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon position at one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Epsom. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
Job Summary:
- Lead a team of veterinary surgeons to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency
- Develop and implement best practice guidelines for veterinary medicine
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of veterinary regulations and medical standards
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical guidance and support to veterinary surgeons and nurses
- Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary developments
- Contribute to business planning and strategy development
Requirements:
- Registration as a veterinary surgeon with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)
- Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of veterinary best practices and medical regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
