Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Niyaa People Ltd, a leading recruitment agency specializing in the public sector. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting our ever-growing operational unit and will be based in our accounts team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a wide portfolio of clients across the sales ledger, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Record all notes and provide information to clients on outstanding debts, agreeing on payment plans and resolving queries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash allocation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Deliver bespoke reporting packs for key clients, providing valuable insights and supporting business growth.
- Build strong internal relationships to resolve and escalate queries, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to collective goals, working towards a shared vision.
- Follow through on the debt collection process when required, ensuring effective and respectful communication with clients.
- Support the team in meeting business needs, taking on administrative tasks as required.
- Previous experience in Credit Control, with a strong understanding of credit management principles.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload, managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
