Brightpoint Community College is a two-year, public institution of higher education in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We are seeking an Adjunct Professor of Psychology to teach courses on our Chester or Midlothian campus.

About the Role

This part-time position offers the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with students who are eager to learn.

You will be responsible for delivering instruction on either online or traditional platforms and assessing student progress.

Your expertise in Psychology will help students develop a deeper understanding of human behavior and mental processes.

Requirements
  • A master's degree in Psychology or a related field with 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in Psychology
  • Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level
  • Ability to use instructional technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Estimated Salary Range:

$50,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education
