Corporate Tax Specialist

RSM is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our National Corporate Tax Service Line, you will work with clients across various business types and sectors, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver High-Quality Tax Services: Provide exceptional tax compliance services to clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tax filings and payments.
- Address Tax Enquiries: Respond to queries and enquiries from HMRC, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with colleagues to provide value-added tax advice, covering a range of technical issues relevant to clients' business risks, challenges, and opportunities.
- Build External Network: Establish and maintain relationships with peers, both within and outside the company, to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Support Team Development: Assist colleagues in other departments to provide a high-quality service to clients, identifying tax-related risks and opportunities.
- Continuously Improve Skills: Stay up-to-date with the latest tax regulations and developments, sharing knowledge and expertise with junior team members.
- Ensure Tax Compliance: Ensure clients' tax affairs comply with statutory requirements, managing compliance work efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain Tax Quality: Adhere to RSM's quality standards, ensuring tax quality at all times.
- Professional Qualifications: CTA/CA/ACA part-qualified, with experience working within an Accountancy Practice.
- Corporate Tax Experience: Good level of exposure to Corporate Tax, with strong understanding of corporate tax rules and 3 years of practical experience.
- Client Handling and Project Management: Proven experience in client handling and project management, with strong personal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Education: Good standard of education, particularly in Maths and English.
