We are seeking a dedicated SEND QTS Teacher to join our team at an Independent Secondary School. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting young people with complex learning difficulties and a proven track record of delivering personalized teaching and differentiated lessons based on the National Curriculum.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge or experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, specifically Autism and ADHD. They will be enthusiastic, passionate, and proactive in their approach to education, with a focus on child engagement and development.

Key responsibilities of the SEND QTS Teacher role include:

  • Delivering personalized teaching and differentiated lessons based on the National Curriculum
  • Supporting students with complex learning difficulties and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Working collaboratively with the school's specialist care and therapeutic services teams
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans for students
  • Providing regular progress updates and reports to parents and carers

Key skills and qualifications required for the SEND QTS Teacher role include:

  • QTS qualification
  • Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, specifically Autism and ADHD
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and its application in a SEND context
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
