Donor Records Officer

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Donor Records Clerical Officer to join our team at NHS Blood and Transplant. As a key member of our Donor Records team, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date donor information.
Key Responsibilities- Manage changes and amendments to donor details, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Input information onto our database regarding donor registration, transfers, and archiving.
- Produce routine medical correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection guidelines.
- Review Donation Safety Checks (DSC) information to identify discretionary testing and key clinical data of blood donations.
- Experience working with IT systems, including Microsoft Office packages and database systems.
- Knowledge of Information Governance principles and data protection guidelines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
