About the Role

Salt is a forward-thinking financial institution committed to driving innovation and operational excellence within their Payments Technology division. We've partnered with them to find a skilled Lead AWS DevOps Engineer who can lead DevOps practices, design CI/CD pipelines, and implement best-in-class cloud infrastructure using AWS.

This is a unique opportunity to shape DevOps culture, enhance delivery velocity, and contribute to the success of our client's business. You will be working closely with the DevOps team to build scalable, secure, and mission-critical infrastructure that powers transformative digital solutions.

Key requirements include deep understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure, expertise in CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and proficiency in tools like Terraform, Bash, Python, or Golang. Additionally, experience running large-scale, mission-critical workloads in AWS and proven ability to manage and mentor DevOps or SRE engineers are essential.

Salary and Benefits: Up to £100,000 per annum, bonus, 28 days holiday, and pension. The role is based in Edinburgh or Manchester with one day per week on-site.
