Marketing Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Data Analyst to join our data team at Yours Clothing. As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the marketing channel reporting suite for our ecommerce business. You will work closely with colleagues across the marketing department to understand reporting requirements and ensure these are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation of reports to monitor sales performance and marketing activity across different marketing channels such as PPC, Email, Affiliates, Paid Social, etc.
  • Using visualization software (Tableau) to produce dashboards that enhance understanding of marketing activity across the business.
  • Troubleshooting data discrepancies and supporting the Senior Data and Insights Manager to implement solutions.
  • Working with our analytics agency and website developers to ensure data collection across channels is working correctly and pulling the correct data into GA4 and other platforms such as Facebook and Awin.
  • Regular and ad-hoc projects requiring creative approaches to answering data-based queries.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated and a desire to be the best.
  • Proven ability to work well within a team and to use own initiative.
  • Self-starter with the ability to find answers themselves.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent change and a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding loyalty and commitment to the business.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics (GA4) is essential, ideally gained in a B2C ecommerce environment.
  • Significant experience working with large and complex data sets, across multiple systems/platforms, specifically SA360, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and Microsoft Ads.
  • Proven track record in marketing analysis and presenting compelling insights from complex datasets for various audiences.
  • Understanding of GTM set up and how website tags collect data, including how to troubleshoot data discrepancies.
  • SQL experience would be an advantage to the role, as this would allow the successful applicant to access the data directly from our data warehouse themselves. However, it is not a direct requirement.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills – including understanding of pivot tables, vlookups, conditional formatting, graphing, and data handling.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset – ability to proactively gather the right data from appropriate sources, probe all the facts, and consider other perspectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
