Waterway Enforcement Officer

The role of Waterway Enforcement Officer at Cornwall Council involves ensuring the safe and efficient use of the River Fal. As a Seasonal Part Time employee, you will be responsible for enforcing local bye-laws, collecting fees, and performing maintenance tasks.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working on the water and can work independently with minimal supervision. The estimated salary for this role is £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The job requires excellent customer care skills, knowledge of local waters, and a RYA Powerboat competency qualification. You will also need to be able to work alone and on your own initiative.
As a Waterway Enforcement Officer, you will be required to work every other weekend, covering 8 hours per day from 0800hrs to 1600hrs and 1600hrs to 2000hrs on a Saturday once every 4 weeks.
