About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join our successful Rettie Financial Services team in Glasgow's West End. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing whole of market mortgage and protection advice to clients, working closely with our sales team to deliver exceptional service and meet business targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients, adhering to agreed mortgage and protection services sales processes.
  • Meet and exceed personal targets, contributing to team targets and promoting business growth.
  • Undertake product and market research to make suitable recommendations to clients.
  • Report and maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring an exceptional service experience.
  • Proactively identify and deal with client issues, ensuring a positive outcome.
  • Utilize sales database (CRM) to record accurate and detailed customer information.
  • Generate positive customer reviews and maintain required levels of competence.
  • Take a proactive approach to continuous personal development, staying up-to-date with changing legislation and developing skills required for the role.
Requirements
  • CMAP Qualified or equivalent.
  • Whole of market mortgage and protection experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of compliance procedures, including record keeping requirements.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional standards of customer service.
  • Proven ability to deliver financial targets and KPIs.
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems, including MS Teams, Word, Excel & Outlook.
