Special Education Teaching Assistant

Are you looking for a rewarding career in education? Do you have experience working with challenging students? We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in SEMH/SEND schools based in Solihull. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting pupils out of the classroom, managing behaviour, and providing pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils out of the classroom with pastoral and personal development
• Manage behaviour of pupils sent out of class, freeing up other TAs
• Patrol school working with pupils not in class, for whatever reason
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with teenagers
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Team player attitude with a positive and flexible approach to work
• Experience within an SEMH school or setting
