A leading accountancy practice based in Warrington is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services.
The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will manage a portfolio of clients, oversee the preparation of financial accounts, and provide business advice. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in accordance with UK GAAP.
- Preparing management accounts, VAT returns, and tax computations.
- Assisting clients with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Attending client meetings to discuss financial performance and offer advice on business strategy.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with at least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
