Aero Data Quality Engineer

At Andretti Cadillac, we are seeking a highly skilled Aero Data Quality Engineer to join our team at the Silverstone Facility. As a key member of our Aero Performance & Correlation Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of aero performance data collected from wind tunnel tests, CFD simulations, and on-track telemetry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data validation and quality control processes to maintain high standards of data integrity.
  • Collaborate with aerodynamicists, engineers, and data scientists to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of data quality processes to ensure continuous improvement as part of the wider correlation project.
  • Work closely with other members of the Aero Performance group and other engineering groups.
Requirements:
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Aerodynamics/Aeronautics or similar).
  • Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the motorsport industry.
  • A good understanding of aerodynamics is required, with a keen attention to detail and must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of data acquisition methods in an aerodynamic test environment.
  • Good coding skills in a mathematical language (e.g. Python).
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders/directors.
  • Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
