We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Trainer to join our team at Consilium Recruit. As a Mechanical Engineering Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training to engineering apprentices, focusing on Fluid Power. You will work closely with our clients to develop and deliver innovative teaching and learning experiences, aligned with the latest apprenticeship standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Level 2, 3, and HNC content to engineering apprentices, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive teaching and learning experiences, incorporating practical and theoretical skills.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to integrate relevant training offers into the apprenticeship scheme of work.
  • Monitor the learning environment and ensure the progress of learners towards completing their apprenticeship in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Functional Skills Level 2 / GCSEs in Maths and English grade C or above.
  • Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification.
  • High level of mechanical engineering knowledge, preferably gained from industrial experience.
  • Experience in the use of milling machines and lathes.
  • Evidence of lean practices and training delivery.
