Job Summary:
The Lead Rehabilitation Physiotherapist will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with routine and complex needs, utilizing evidence-based and patient-focused principles to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of patients with routine and complex needs
- Supervise, teach, and appraise senior, junior, and assistant physiotherapists, physiotherapy students, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of Physiotherapy services, particularly in clinical governance within the Elderly Care team
- Collaborate with the Discharge Team and community-based services to facilitate timely discharge
- Participate in the weekend and on-call rota
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable acute experience across medicine and elderly rehabilitation, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
