Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 driver to join our team at Staffing Match - London Transport. As a customer-focused driver, you will be responsible for delivering white goods and electric appliances to customers across East and North-East regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely complete deliveries in a 2-man crew, adhering to UK Road Law and Regulations.
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed before hitting the road.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring the proper representation of our company's name.
  • Secure merchandise in the lorry and wear overshoes in customers' homes.
  • Deliver products to customers' rooms of choice and leave homes tidy, recycling packaging as needed.
Requirements:
  • Hold a UK license with a C1 or above category.
  • Be in possession of a valid CPC and Digital tacho card.
  • Pass a drug and alcohol test before starting.
  • Apply for a DBS/CRC check before commencing work.
  • Previous experience driving 7.5t or above vehicles is not mandatory, but heavy lifting is involved.
