Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Operations Manager to lead our kitchen team at Holiday Inn Leeds-Brighouse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.



About the Role:


This key role will be responsible for managing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring seamless delivery of food and beverage services that meet our high standards. The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing kitchen operations, with a proven track record of achieving targets and improving efficiency. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with the hotel management team and kitchen staff to drive business success.



Main Responsibilities:



  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve excellent service standards and improve overall performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability
  • Manage budgets and control costs effectively, ensuring the kitchen operation remains within budget
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation and enhance guest experiences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to continuously improve kitchen operations


What You'll Bring:


To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Previous experience in managing kitchen operations, preferably in a similar hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to develop and inspire a high-performing team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Able to manage budgets and control costs effectively, with a focus on improving profitability and reducing waste
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and improving efficiency, with a passion for continuous improvement
