About The Role

As a Warehouse & FLT Operative (Freezer) you will be a vital part of our team, working in a fast-paced environment to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be supported and trained to perform a variety of tasks, including receiving and storing products, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, driving a forklift truck, and loading stock for dispatch.

You will work safely and carefully, adhering to food and health and safety policies every day, to ensure our products are handled and stored correctly and arrive at our stores in the best condition for our customers.

We will provide you with comprehensive training to ensure you are equipped to perform a range of tasks to the highest standard, providing top-quality products that our customers love.

About You

You will be the kind of person who:

  • Loves working as part of a team and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness
  • Is able to work in an environment with varying temperatures of around 8 degrees to minus 21 degrees
  • Takes pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
  • Has previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands relevant processes, systems, and equipment (desirable)
  • Can work to the shifts outlined in the advert above, which will typically include shift working (days, lates, or nights) and will include some weekend working

As this role is within a freezer environment, full protective clothing is provided, including freezer-quality safety footwear, salopettes, thermals, coat, gloves, and glove liners.
