Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate English Academic Mentor to join our team at Ribbons & Reeves Limited. As an experienced educator, you will be responsible for guiding learners through engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.

The successful candidate will have a degree in English from a top UK University and a proven track record of teaching GCSE and A-Level English. They will also possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to teaching and learning, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to support learners.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is eager to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives and start their career in education. You will receive full training and support from our Senior Leadership Team members, as well as rapid career progression opportunities within our network of exceptional secondary schools in Brent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guiding learners through engaging and creative lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
  • Teaching GCSE and A-Level English
  • Collaborating with colleagues to support learners
  • Monitoring and assessing student progress, supporting academic growth

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £475-550 per week (inclusive of Holiday Pay) paid weekly via PAYE, as well as term-time work only. Our schools are easily accessible by commuting routes, and we provide full training and support to ensure your success in this role.
