Excell Supply is recruiting for passionate teaching assistants to work in primary and/or secondary schools in and around Cheshire West on a supply basis, with the potential opportunity for short and long term roles as well as day to day supply.
Role Overview:
As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support student learning and classroom management. Your role may involve assisting with providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs, and helping create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources.
- Support individual students or groups of students in their learning.
- Help maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students' lives.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work individually and taking initiative as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable but not Essential:
- Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable but not essential.
