AWE Plc is seeking a skilled Mechanical / Electrical (M&E) Construction Project Manager to support the Construction Manager in ensuring the successful planning and delivery phases of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation works by contractors, ensuring they meet specified quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and verify installation works to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a daily site diary, accurately documenting site conditions, progress, and resources.
- Contribute to weekly reports, including site safety inspections, quality control, and defect notices.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing pre-construction information, such as SSOW/RAMS.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and AWE standards, processes, and procedures during construction planning and implementation.
- Provide supervision and governance to maintain high standards in environmental, safety, health, security, and quality management.
- Proven experience in supervising construction work, with a suitable amount of technical and site experience.
- Hold an industry-standard construction/build environment qualification (e.g., NVQ level 3/4 or above).
- SSSTS & CSCS (relevant level) or suitable equivalent.
- Membership of an appropriate professional institution (desirable).
- Good understanding of current construction Health, Safety, and Environmental Legislation/Regulations, particularly compliance with CDM 2015.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.
