Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Manager to lead the technical development of our global sensors and weapons products and services. As a key member of our Integrated Programme Team, you will be responsible for engineering leadership, work package management, and external technical liaison.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-disciplined team of technical experts in the development and delivery of global sensors and weapons products and services.
- Generate and coordinate engineering development plans, execution against Raytheon's standards, and alignment to the overall Programme's needs.
- Manage work packages, including planning, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators.
- Act as the external technical first point of contact and liaison for key internal and external customer organisations.
- Liaise with Design Authority to ensure technical integrity of programmes.
- Manage risk and change for all engineering deliverables.
- Ensure programme baseline schedule and costs adherence using 'earned value' techniques.
- Direct and indirect team management across disciplines.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven expertise in managing delivery of complex multi-disciplined development programmes.
- Extensive experience in systems engineering and guidance of multidiscipline, high-performance teams.
- Clear understanding of financial management and impacts on programmes.
- Demonstrated competency for strategic thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management.
- Demonstrated competency in relating efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
- Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Broad-based technical background with experience in systems design and integration.
- Knowledge of software development and delivery methodologies.
- BSc/BEng in Engineering, Science, or Aeronautical Engineering.
