Medical Investigator

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, a leading healthcare provider in south London, is seeking a highly skilled Medical Investigator to join their Respiratory Physiology Department at Harefield Hospital.
The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training to conduct a wide range of physiological investigations, including pulmonary function tests, exercise tests, and diagnostic sleep studies on respiratory, cardiac, and transplant patients.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct lung function tests and analyze data from diagnostic sleep study equipment with minimal supervision.
- Become proficient in using software platforms for test procedures and electronic patient records (EPR) & booking system.
Job Summary:
- Patient/Client Care: Perform quality control procedures within the department, ensuring accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Compliance with Infection Control Policies and Procedures: Maintain personal responsibility for adherence to Trust and Departmental infection control policies and procedures.
- Experience: Possess knowledge of lung function test and/or sleep studies.
- Knowledge: Hold a degree in human physiology or clinical physiology.
- Skills: Proficient in computer usage, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: £31,081 - £33,665 per annum incl. HCA Outer London.
