Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our Specialist Support Team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs and developing our organisation's expertise in Positive Behaviour Support.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and embed person-centred assessment and intervention in line with Positive Behaviour Support approaches.
- Support the PBS Lead in developing training and resources to build local competency across the organisation.
- Carry out robust person-centred functional assessments, analyse data, develop PBS strategies and plans, and develop a plan for implementation based on robust mediator analysis.
- Support the development of the organisation's local offer through mentoring, supervision, and coaching in PBS.
- Assist in the development of the organisation's offer to supporting people who are at risk of exclusion from universal services and at risk of being admitted to hospital.
- Hold a postgraduate qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, Behaviour Analysis, or Autism/Learning Disability or equivalent.
- Experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism who have complex and challenging support needs across a range of settings.
- Understanding of the needs of people with learning disabilities and autism, including those with complex health needs, additional mental health needs, and complex support needs.
- Experience of completing bespoke assessments to support people moving, including those moving from hospital into their own home.
